Hey everyone, I’m Hamid Shabbir and I’m serving as the VP of Professional Affairs at SUSA. At UMD, I’m involved in Consult Your Community, College Mentors for Kids, and the Ahlul-Bayt Student Association. I love the spending time in nature and I’m obsessed with the Porsche brand. I’m looking forward to hosting more events at Smith and collaborating with our SUSA clubs to grow our school into a community!

Professional Affairs Committee
Responsible for enhancing the professional journey of all Smith students. It is responsible for creating and developing initiatives to better serve the Smith community professionally, and allowing students to successfully discover their career paths. The committee will serve as a liaison between the Office of Career Services, SUSA, Smith Administration, and the student body as a whole.

After graduating from UMD, my plan is to become a certified public accounting and work for one of the big 4 accounting firms in the field of tax. I'm a huge sports fan, my favorite teams are the Orioles, Ravens, Wizards and the Terps! I'm currently serving on the RHA Senate and am on the track to become an RA next year. I'm a big collector of both sports cards and Pokemon cards.

Hey guys my name is Sara Shibu! I am so excited to be apart of the Professional Affairs Committee here with SUSA. I am also in the University Honors program as well as a member of the University Honors Student Board. I am also in the events committee for the Women in Business club! In my free time, I love to read, cook, and go shopping. Post-graduation, I aspire to explore consulting and diverse career paths. I'm looking forward to assisting the Smith community this term!

Hello! My name is Sean Smith, and I am a freshman studying Business Management here at College Park, and I am part of the Smith Business Leadership Fellows (SBLF) here at Smith. I am a part of the Professional Affairs Committee here with SUSA. I currently work as a catering student worker with UMD Dining and run track as a part of UMD Club Running. You may find me chilling with my friends, working out, and watching shows in my free time. I hope to see everyone around campus and attend SUSA events!!
