Outside of SUSA, Dawson is a Public Leadership Scholar, the Vice President of Finance for EnTERPreneur, and a member of the Sophomore Finance Fellows Program. He enjoys playing basketball, exploring the outdoors, and marksmanship in his free time. Following graduation, he plans to work in business consulting.


Finance Committee

Responsible for SUSA’s annual budget and all other duties assigned by the President. Approves funding for Smith-sponsored events and activities. Helps eligible, Smith-sponsored organizations gain SGA recognition. Audits SUSA financial records at the end of each semester.

Mickey Gordon - Finance Member

Mickey Gordon


Hometown: Atlanta, GA

Major: Accounting, Information Systems ‘21

Outside of SUSA, Mickey is the former Founding Treasurer of an on-campus student organization in which he applied classroom accounting topics to the real-world by developing internal controls procedures and a financial management database. During the Summer of 2019, he interned at the United States Department of the Treasury and learned about project management. Following graduation, he aims to work in federal law enforcement and specialize in forensic accounting.

Ananya Vepa


Hometown: Ellicott City, MD

Major: Finance, Computer Science

Outside of SUSA, Ananya is a Business, Society, and the Economy Scholar, Founder, Co-President of Business in Health, and a Finance Committee Member of the Women in Business Association. She enjoys basketball and photography. She has worked as a Corporate Finance Intern at C-HIT, a healthcare software company, Chief Financial Officer of Boundless, a student-run coloring book company, and Chief Financial Officer of codeHER. Ananya aspires to earn a Masters degree in Quantitative Finance and work as a financial or quantitative analyst on Wall Street.
