Last Spring, the SUSA Executive Board welcomed a new committee: Diversity and Inclusion. This committee strives to (a) impact diversity and inclusion leadership amongst SUSA’s clubs, (b) quantify SUSA’s approach to diversity and inclusion programming, and (c) promote esprit de corps within SUSA’s internal community.
They set the tone by undertaking four projects:
(1) Creating a diversity and inclusion training series for SUSA club leaders
(2) Collecting and analyzing demographic data
(3) Conducting a diversity audit of SUSA’s clubs
(4) Putting on community events for SUSA internal.
This Fall, the committee looks forward to continuing and improving these projects!
